Beginning Instrumental/Sectional Group Lessons

These classes are designed for incoming 5th graders who have little to no experience playing their instruments. If you have participated in our summer Head Start program, these classes are ideal for you!

2026 - FastTrack Spring Schedule:

Tuesdays - beginning 01/13/26

4:30pm - Clarinet 

5:15pm - Alto Saxophone 

6:45pm - Trombone

Wednesdays - beginning 01/14/26

4:30pm - Trumpet

5:15pm - Flute 

6:45pm - Alto Saxophone

Thursdays - beginning 01/15/26

3:45pm - Violin

4:30pm - Violin

6:00pm - Cello

Fridays - beginning 01/16/26

4:30pm - Violin

6:00pm - Violin

*** Classes will meet weekly until the week of 05/12/26 (Tue) through 05/15/26 (Fri) until our summer group classes (Saturdays) resume (TBD). Coinciding w PUSD break - classes will NOT meet in February from 02/17/26 through 02/20/26 (Ski Week) and in April from 04/07/26 through 04/10/26 (Spring Break). There is a performance scheduled for Saturday 05/16/26 - with details TBD.  ***

How much is the cost to attend?

Tuition is prepaid and is a flat rate each month, regardless of the number of lessons in that month. Tuition rates for the 2025 Fast Track classes is $109.00 per month.

Are Instruments Provided?

No, we do not provide an instrument with the cost of monthly tuition. We do offer instruments for rent or purchase. You can sign up for a rental here.

What If I Can't Make It To All of The Classes?

Our group lessons (e.g. string ensembles, concert band, FastTrack, HeadStart) are on a tight schedule based on the days and times they are offered. Therefore, unlike our private lessons, we will be unable to accommodate or schedule any make-up lessons.

Any pre-planned absences from students should be communicated to the Lessons Coordinator, so that the Lessons Coordinator can contact the instructor to see what curriculum will be discussed and instructed during the absence.

Tuition from group lessons will not be discounted or refunded based on absences. The monthly tuition is paid to secure your personal seat in the group class. If you choose to suspend lessons, we can stop the billing with one caveat: your spot in the class is not guaranteed upon return as spacing in the classes is limited.
