Joe Vega

Joe attended Temescal Canyon High School in Lake Elsinore , CA, (2000-2004), where he played Tenor, Alto, and Baritone saxophones in the Marching, Jazz, and concert programs. After graduating from High School, he played semi-professionally in the Riverside Municipal Concert Band (late 2004-mid 2005). ...

Joe had a love for music and a strong interest in reparing instruments. He decided to attend Renton Technical College, Renton, WA, under the direction of Daryl Hickman, where he earned his certificate of Musial Instrument Repair (mid 2005- April 2006). In May of 2006-late 2008 he started his apprenticeship under Jeff Peterson (formerly of Horn Improvement, Mission Viejo, CA and now of Yamaha Corp. Of Japan). He is a professional member of good standing in NAPBIRT (National association of Band Instrument Repair Technicians) and am one of 8 Band Instrument Repair Technicians at our facility in San Marcos, CA.
