Hello! My name is Angela Asher. I have been a music lover all my life. ... I started piano lessons at 4 and flute lessons as soon as my hands could reach the keys! I am originally from La Crosse Wisconsin where I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Flute Performance. Taking my flute in for regular maintenance, looking at the techs tools and learning about repair techniques has always been interesting to me.

After college I moved to San Diego and started looking for a place to learn how to repair. Bertrand’s Music offered me an apprenticeship in January 2019. I have enjoyed every minute of my time learning repair and look forward to many more years.
